Court House weddings are a thing of the past. In Tennessee they no longer officiate weddings at the court house. You obtain your license from them and then need to find someone to marry you. I can meet you anywhere in Oak Ridge or even in my office and perform a simple ceremony that makes you a legally married couple. No frills just a simple ceremony and notorized paperwork to return to the courthouse.
There is nothing Standard about anyones wedding. This service creates the ceremony from beginning to end making it as simple or as spiritual as the couple desires. We can even create a memorable cos-play wedding. Included is the rehearsal and meeting once, twice or 5 times before the ceremony to go over details.
If wedding distance is more than 40 miles I charge and additional $150 for the rehearsal.
Handfasting is an ancient Celtic ritual in which the hands are tied together to symbolize the binding of two lives. While it is most often included in Wiccan or Pagan ceremoneis, it has become more mainstream in recent years.
This is my most requested type of ceremony.
I also offer a cord making session. I provide all the material for your own personalized handfasting cord. $75
Do you want to get married out in nature? I can set up a simple elopement alter and seating for up to 16 people in any public space. You just show up and get married. The decorations are seasonal unless you want to add your own.
Are you wanting to get away to a secluded cabin and get married amongst your close friends/family? I can help find the perfect location and have it stocked for the arrival of your group. As a massge therapist I can offer therapy to the group. As a personal chef I can cook for the group, or stock the kitchen. We can create a retreat wedding weekend that suits any budget.
Destination wedding? I know a spot in the Bahamas that will sleep 6 people....
Are you doing the whole thing yourself? Would you like to have someone else coordinate on the day of so that you can concentrate on yourself? I am happy to come up to 4 hours early and take your schedule and keep everyone on task.
Do you need help creating a schedule for the day of? I can also help create this.
Weddings can be a stressful event. Choosing the person to perform the ceremony should not add to that stress. We can choose the style and formality that will suite your occasion. I can even help coordinate the day or plan an entire weekend.
Just needing the basics and wanting a little more then the courthouse style wedding? We can meet in my office or within a 25 miles radius of Oak Ridge
Includes get to know ya'll meeting and personally written vows for day of ceremony. I will arrive within 90 minutes of ceremony begin time. If wedding is local the rehearsal is also included.
Travel/Rehearsal Fee: $150 if I am to travel more than 40 miles
If you have a printed timeline and you just need someone other than a loved one to take charge and get everyone where they need to be at the right time then I am happy to jump in and help. I book in two hour increments.
Creating a Day of Timeline-
We will get together several times during the planning process to create your special day. Additional $200
You want help to manage and create your moment from beginning to the end? Together we will create and manage a timeline. I will be your point of contact for your vendors and oversee the set up of your event. I will be onsite from set up to the end making sure everything is the way you want
It includes the individualized wedding services along with helping find a location for a "getaway" wedding for smaller groups. Which can include catering the entire weekend, or just the ceremony. I can have food stocked in the fridge for a more intimate weekend or for larger groups I can stay on site and cook meals and provide a VIP luxurious experience. Handfasting cords are traditional symbols of "tying the knot" and have become a very popular choice for ceremonies. I stock cordage of all colors and will happily teach you how to braid your own handfasting cord.
I can also make one for you for an extra fee.
